We’re delighted to present this Tudor Oyster Prince Jumbo Date+Day, model reference 7017/0. The oversized 38mm diameter stainless steel case has a crisp, clean grey index dial showing day/date and centre seconds.
Tudor watches of this period were manufactured using Rolex parts. This watch is signed ‘ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA’ on the reverse. It also has a Rolex winding crown and 7836 Rolex ‘folded link’ Oyster bracelet.
A fabulous one-owner watch, with the original Tudor boxes, booklets, sales invoice and a comprehensive Rolex UK service history.
Sold new by Mappin & Webb on Regent Street on 21st January 1982 (M&W sales invoice included). The watch was serviced at Rolex UK on the 16th August 1996 at a cost of £144.09, including £19.09 for a new clasp! Also included is further correspondence from Rolex in 2004.
This watch is in superb condition, with probably the most comprehensive set of paperwork for any comparable watch offered for sale. This very firmly falls into the category of ‘find another like this!’.
